It is only when we reflect on the totality of Mum’s life that we gain a clearer picture of the wealth and richness of the experiences that shaped her into the person she became. She lived her life to the full, whatever the circumstance, typifying the saying ‘Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain” and Mum certainly loved to dance!  

Mum had strong values and beliefs, however she always seemed to adapt with the flow of changing times, which were inevitable and considerable during her 91+years.

Her coping mechanisms were remarkable allowing her to find the resilience, strength, courage, determination and compassion to enable her to ‘Dance in the Rain’; however challenging the circumstance.
